I Met My Wish!
I met my "WISH"!!
Just another day in the institute it was,
Full of work, hard work but no one's applause.
Be it the workshop or the drowning class,
It was the engineer swimming across .... Alas!!!
All day, found myself in a turbulent sea.
The day's torture had left nothing in me.
At the end of the Day this was to sooth,
Yes, "Rest the Best" was in my mood.
After I managed to climb up the stairs,
To reach up my room and waver the layers,
Layers of air that became still for the day,
With no happiness did they greet, 'cause I wasn't gay.
Eyes reflected my thoughts, my face was in drops,
No one to cheer nor a kangaroo that hops.
I kept my bag apart, it pleaded sorrow,
I lay in my bed , there wasn't anyone to borrow.
I felt fast asleep to meet my Wish ....
The homesick boy, poor boy wanted a dish ....
To my utter joy, it was a grand surprise,
There wasn't any girl, nor my friend wise
My eyes saw what they pleaded to see
They were in front .... Oh! they were with me.
My mom came to me kissing my forehead,
Dad came and hugged, bringing life into the dead.
I was filled with joy of the utmost height
There was all around a vibrant light.
The Sun lit my face, rivers formed valleys on it,
My cheeks blushed red, happiness ruled the dell....
Telling them all about what I felt that day
They calmed me up by their pleasant say.
Then I went with them into enjoying trips
Trips to heavens, the heavens at my lips.
Gods were by my side , no one could peep,
Were caring , soothing , nurturing my emotions deep.
We came back and sat for another long chat,
My father with another surprise - gifted me a 'Hat'.
The reunion was coming to an end, though it was fair
Mom laid me back in bed, her palm brushed my hair.
TRING - TRING .... awake I was by a desperate call,
The dishes were missing, so was the 'Hat' tall.
I looked around and saw the scene alone....
Another shock came when I picked up my phone!!!
"Hello", as i said, the reply came...
"How are you son, is Delhi good and same?"
It was dad's call from my city far away,
I acknowledged that yes emotions do convey,
Language or medium do express them ....
But emotions do sway in the flurry of winds.
